Here's a video of the sketch I wrote and directed for The Saddest Sketch Show, which took place on Friday, May 18 at the PIT as part of The Saddest Sketch Show.  The event was created and produced by Meredith Hackman.

Deirdre Lorenz, Phil Casale, Paul Wielunski, Chris Luther and Christine Pynn were great in this.  Please watch it when you get a chance.  Enjoy.

On Friday, May 18th at 11pm at the PIT, one of my scripts will be staged as part of "The Saddest Sketch Show."  Come check it out!  Tickets are only $8, and you can get a sneak peek at my next Top Secret Projector Room video.

More information and a link to buy tickets can be found here.

It's going to be airing tonight during primetime on both NBC and CBS.  Enjoy!

I’ll be performing in this show on Monday, February 6th at 7pm.  Please come!  Watch me do a really bad French accent!  It’s only $5, and you can buy me a drink afterwards to congratulate me.

The PIT is at 123 East 24th Street in Manhattan.

NY comedy sensation Heady Tonic presents an evening of sketches ripped from the history books. See the greatest leaders, explorers and crusaders the  world has ever known brought to life and ruined for your entertainment.

Seeing history sketches shows that you’re savvy, cultured and also like to have a good time.  Invite someone you are attracted to and show them that you possess these admirable qualities.

Now with a special improv opener!

Please watch this short, called The Taste of Coffee, that I made with Phil Magbitang, Phil Casale and Gaby Dunn.  We improvised it over the course of a single day, and it was a lot of fun to make.  The performances have a nice, natural feel that I enjoy, and I’m happy with how the lone special effect in it came out.

I don’t want to spoil anything, so you’ll have to watch this to see for yourself.

We shot this in September, and ended up with about 4 1/2 hours worth of material.  I’d promised my PITtv team Top Secret Projector Room that I’d get it down to under 5 minutes, so it took a very long time to complete.  There’s also a lot of funny stuff that I couldn’t include.  But enjoy this!

I co-directed this video, which is called Noelis, and also did the voice-over.  You can learn more about Top Secret Projector Room here, here and here.

Check out the new video from my PITtv team Lefthook called the Baby Who Probably Wished He Had No Fathers. I made it with my teammate Thomas Michael because a) we wanted to test out some new camera equipment I’d purchased, and b) we want to make improvised comedy videos. The “I” in PIT does stand for “improv”, after all.

We gathered up a couple friends, went to the PIT and recruited a few other people who were hanging around. This is what we came up with. We think it came out well enough so that we want to make more improvised videos, albeit perhaps with a bit more planning involved.

But I still think this is a really funny movie, and the performances in it are hilarious.

PITtv Team Lefthook Presents: The Baby Who Probably Wished He Had No Fathers

Starring: Christine Holt, Adrian Sexton, Phil Magbitang, Thomas Michael, Patrick Cucuta and Dan Abrams

Produced by: Mark L. Feinsod and Thomas Michael
Directed/edited by: Mark L. Feinsod

The PIT recently started a video production department, which they organized into teams of people making comedic videos for the Internet.  I was chosen to be on Lefthook, which is comprised of seven talented, funny individuals.  I'll post the movies I have a large hand in, such as the ones I write or direct.  To see everything by Lefthook, please go to our website.

This is my first Lefthook video, which is called Every Country in the World vs. the U.S.!  I wrote/directed/drew the pictures for it, and my teammates also contributed: Thomas Michael did the voice-over, while Emerald Catron helped out with audio engineering.

If you're not doing anything tonight, my improv group Mystery Machine is performing tonight at the PIT (123 East 24th Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues in Manhattan).

We're opening for a music improv group called Zamboni!.  Our great coach Oscar Montoya is a member of this team.

Here's a link to the Facebook invite.  Hope to see you there!

Yesterday, the PIT posted the trailer for 1,001 Online Dates on its blog.  This is really exciting and flattering, since 1,001 Online Dates is a project that totally came to exist because of the PIT.  Evan and I met in a comedy improv class there and came up with the idea for the series while riding the subway home back to Brooklyn.  Most of the cast and crew are people we've met in classes at the PIT, we're both still taking classes there and we very much enjoy being part of the community.

Thanks to Jeff Lepine for posting the trailer!  And the series is definitely going to continue to fill its cast with the lovely and talented people we've gotten to know at the PIT.

Also, I was at the bar at the new theater last night.  They serve Blue Moon.  Awesome.  I'm going to be there pretty regularly, I'd imagine.

In other news, episode 01 should finally be up by the end of the week.  Please check back!
